Clip | 3m 48s
In 1968, THIRTEEN's Public Broadcast Laboratory series set out to document Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and sent its camera crew and photographer Joseph Louw to follow King as he traveled throughout the South for the Poor People's Campaign. Louw was the only photographer present when King was assassinated in Memphis, TN. Three days later, the unfinished documentary aired with Louw's testimony.
