Installation artist Annette Messager explores the work of contemporary women artists.
Annette Messager is one of France’s most important artists. Her assemblages dealing with women’s role in society brought her into prominence in the early 1970s. In 2005, she was rewarded the Golden Lion for best national pavilion at the Venice Biennale.
