The group Warehouse Life filed a federal lawsuit this week asking a judge to force the U.S. Department of Labor and OSHA to fill public records request about what they call Amazon's quote, notoriously hazardous warehouses.
Two years ago, three men died within three weeks at New Jersey Amazon warehouses.
One man died during the prime day rush at the Cartwright location.
A second man died when falling from a stepladder in Robbinsville, and a third man died at the delivery center in Monroe.
Warehouse Life is seeking more information about the circumstances surrounding those deaths, including how a summer heat wave may have contributed to them.
The lawsuit seeks investigators notes, audio and video of inspections, as well as photographs and interview notes.
The group says it filed its public records request back in August.
An Amazon spokesperson noted to NJ Advance Media that OSHA conducted thorough investigations and found no evidence of wrongdoing by the company.
