Opponents rally at State House as Assembly committee takes up controversial measure

A bill that would create a state definition of antisemitism and a public awareness campaign around bias crimes brought hundreds of supporters and opponents to the State House on Thursday. The Assembly State and Local Government Committee was holding a hearing on the bill to codify the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s definition of antisemitism into state law.
