This Week at Lincoln Center, the New York Philharmonic kicks off its fall season.
Music Director Alan Gilbert starts the season leading the Orchestra in concerts featuring György Kurtág, Beethoven and Stravinsky. Norwegian pianist Leif Ove Andsnes makes his 25th appearance with the Philharmonic, and for the first time, Gilbert and the Philharmonic perform Stravinsky’s “The Rite of Spring.”
