Kehinde Wiley guides us through his current exhibition at the Jewish Museum. Wiley is known for his portraits of young men of color that evoke the sensibility of classical European painting. His newest series is called “The World Stage: Israel.” Now on view are 14 portraits displayed alongside pieces from the museum’s permanent collection that influenced these works.
